Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim, who bring us the dramedy 'Eli Stone', named each episode of the first season of this series after a song of George Michael and also George is making a couple appearances in the show - he is brought in episode
"Because we wrote the show with George Michael in mind. And we wrote it basically like, we picked George because of a lot of different reasons I'll get to - but we picked him sort of knowing that he probably wouldn't do it...wouldn't do it in a million years. So we wrote George Michael, we got word back from his agents saying that he wasn't interested. So then we went about the part of trying to find a replacement. And through the process of finding a replacement, we learned - or rather, realy saw - it was impossible to replace him. Because no one had the right mix of '80s icon, but not overexposed today...fun, the right song, the right name, there were like all these elicit elements that worked perfectly with George. Like five elements, another artist would satisfy maybe three out of the five. George was just perfect from day one. And I don't think we realized how perfect he was until we tried to replace him. Luckily, a different agent of his learned about the script and said, "You know, I think this is something that George would like to do." And he went to George - and George is a big television fan, a total TV-ofile. Even when he's in England he downloads everything off of iTunes and watches a lot of American television. And he really responded to it - as a show, as something he wanted to do - so we really got lucky because I think I did four or five drafts for different artists and they were never as good as the original one we had for George."

Eli's visions continue to intensify and begin to affect his practice, his relationships and how he's perceived by others. But it's not until Eli puts his own life in peril that Nathan recognizes similar episodes their father shared and reconsiders his brother's case. Upon another review of the symptoms and an MRI, he discovers Eli is suffering from an inoperable brain aneurysm that's causing his illusions.
If Nathan represents science, Dr. Chen represents faith. As Eli struggles to cope with his diagnosis, he looks to Dr. Chen for his take on the relationship of his revelations to his aneurysm. Dr. Chen suggests there could be a divine answer for why he's having delusions of grandeur - Eli may be a prophet. While Eli is sceptical, his visions have helped him recall what his father once impressed upon him -- "You're meant to do great things... speak inspired words... you're going to help people." With these words in mind, Eli redefines his outlook on life and his mission as a lawyer, beginning with a case in which he represents an old acquaintance against one of his firm's most important clients.
Despite opposition from his imposing boss and future father in law, Jordan Wethersby (Victor Garber, "Alias"), and his fiancée, Taylor (Natasha Henstridge, "Commander in Chief"), Eli chooses to stay the course. His resolve will be further tested by his colleagues, who include his sassy assistant, Patti (Loretta Devine, "Crash"), and fellow counsel Matt Dowd (Sam Jaeger, "Catch and Release"), an ambitious, competitive shark who exemplifies everything Jordan would like Eli to be. He'll also be challenged by Maggie Dekker (Julie Gonzalo, "Veronica Mars"), an inexperienced, junior associate who questions his commitment to change.
Maggie, a first-year associate at W.P.K., suggests he take the case of a married couple from Mexico - farmhands seeking compensation against a large produce manufacturer whose pesticide made the wife and her co-workers infertile. Eli resists taking the case until a singing boys' choir and a biplane - his visions, returned - persuade him otherwise. Unfortunately, his clients are keeping two secrets from him, challenging both their marriage and their American citizenship.

With help from his spiritual guru Dr. Chen, Eli recalls a childhood memory of his father that reminds him of the lengths people will go to to protect the ones they love - a valuable clue that uncovers a shocking twist in his case. Meanwhile, as Eli's odd behavior continues, Jordan requires him to provide medical proof that he is fit to work at the firm, so Eli turns to his brother for help in falsifying his medical records.

Eli realizes that the only way to do this is to challenge the annulment of the marriage — which means suing the church.

'One More Try' - The 'new Eli' gets another chance to make right a case the 'old Eli' won through questionable tactics on behalf a large motor vehicle manufacturer. Patti brings to light Martin Posner's surprising culpability in the suit - though not nearly as surprising as how she discovered it.
Meanwhile Jordan introduces two new associates who've joined W.P.K. - his daughter and Eli's ex-fiancée, Taylor, and Keith Bennett, whose self-representation in a trial against the firm made a lasting impression on Jordan. And if Taylor's presence in the office weren't enough for Eli to deal with, a series of untimely visions send him to Hawaii and lead to very odd behavior in court, threatening his case.

'Heal The Pain' - Eli adjusts to his new position at the law firm without an office, a secretary or the ability to try cases himself - all in the same week that he's being chased by a fire-breathing dragon. The dragon fly-bys prompt him to take the case of a 15-year-old boy whose mother was killed by the medical malpractice of a Dr. Agon. Unfortunately, Agon used to work at the same hospital where Eli's brother, Nathan, is employed - the hospital that Eli must sue.
Making matters even worse is the fact that Jordan assigns Maggie as lead counsel and Eli has to follow her instructions. The roll-reversal, ironically, brings them closer together - a fact not lost on Taylor, who tries to reconcile with Eli through a surprisingly live performance by none other than... special guest star George Michael.

With Dr. Chen's help, he realizes that the epicenter of the quake is the neighborhood Eli's client is trying to evict in order to turn the area into a shopping mall. Eli realizes that the only way to save these people is to help his client kick them out of their homes. And with the stakes this high, Eli is willing to do whatever it takes - including bribing a judge.
